PWA help & troubleshooting

The app shows "This site can't be reached"

PodiaScan is published and live at podiascan.com. If you see a connection error from the home-screen icon, it is usually a temporary network issue on your device, not the site being down.

  1. Switch network: try moving from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa), then tap the app icon again.
  2. Force-close and reopen: swipe away the app from your recent-apps list and relaunch it.
  3. Test in a browser: open Chrome or Safari and visit podiascan.com to confirm the site loads.
Clear the PWA cache and reinstall the icon

Android (Chrome)

  1. Long-press the PodiaScan icon on your home screen and tap Remove.
  2. Open Chrome, go to podiascan.com.
  3. Tap the menu (⋮) → History → clear browsing data for the last 24 hours.
  4. Reload the site, then tap the menu → Add to Home screen.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Long-press the PodiaScan icon and tap Remove App (this only removes the bookmark).
  2. Open Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data.
  3. Open Safari and visit podiascan.com.
  4. Tap the share button (□↑), scroll down, and tap Add to Home Screen.
What "offline" means for PodiaScan

PodiaScan is designed to work best when connected to the internet. The app can show the home screen and some recent readings while offline, but you cannot send new scans to your clinic until the connection returns.

Medical safety: if you notice an open wound, active bleeding, or broken skin, contact emergency healthcare services immediately regardless of whether the app is online.

Start monitoring in minutes

Home users scan at home in about a minute. Clinics get a branded triage dashboard and a patient registration code straight away.
