A 25-second look at how the daily check works and what your clinic sees.
PodiaScan™ is an adjunctive temperature trend-tracking software system. It is designed to flag localized temperature variances of 2.2°C or more to help users identify a trend change warranting professional review.
- Seven zones on each foot
- Daily reminder on your phone
- Share readings with your clinic
- 14-day trial to start
The system’s output is intended strictly to support the user decision to “Contact a Clinician.” It does not provide diagnoses, prescriptions or treatment advice. A difference below 2.2°C does not rule out a foot problem.

How it works, in three steps
1. Scan seven zones on each foot
Hold an infrared thermometer to seven marked spots per foot — six on the sole, one on the top. The app talks you through it in about two minutes.
2. PodiaScan compares left with right
Each zone is matched against the same zone on the other foot to display a relative temperature difference.
3. A 2.2 °C difference raises an alert
Differences of 2.2°C or more are highlighted as prompts to Contact a Clinician, not as a diagnosis.

PodiaScan records your readings and flags a difference between your two feet. It is a monitoring aid, not a diagnosis, and it never tells you to stop or change treatment.
Read our safety noticeDoes it replace my doctor?
No. It organises temperature readings for review. Contact a clinician about flagged differences or concerning symptoms, whatever the app shows.

Relative Temperature Trend Tracking
Why PodiaScan?
Diabetic nerve damage (neuropathy) steals your feet's ability to feel pain. A blister, tissue stress, or minor friction can turn into a serious ulcer without you ever feeling it.
PodiaScan organises user-entered temperatures and highlights relative differences. These are prompts to contact a clinician, not findings of inflammation or predictions of ulceration. Continue daily visual inspections and professional care.

Your subscription supports the software that records temperature trends for professional review; it does not guarantee protection from complications."
Common questions
What does PodiaScan flag?⌄
PodiaScan records seven zones on each foot — six on the sole and one on the top — and compares left-right pairs. A difference of 2.2°C or more is a prompt to contact a clinician, not evidence of inflammation or a diagnosis.
What thermometer works with PodiaScan?⌄
Use a suitable handheld infrared thermometer intended for skin-temperature measurement and follow its manufacturer’s instructions. You record each reading in the app.
Is my patient data secure?⌄
Yes. PodiaScan uses row-level security, clinic-level tenant isolation, encrypted passwords, and role-based access. Health data is stored only in relation to an identified clinic and is never shared between tenants.
Can I use PodiaScan at home?⌄
Home User is a dedicated, high-contrast interface for daily self-checks. It walks you through a fourteen-point scan with audio prompts, then lets you send the daily log to your linked clinic.
What does the clinic dashboard include?⌄
A temperature-difference review queue of patient scans, clinician notes with assigned follow-ups and due dates, photo and PDF attachments per patient, 90-day temperature trends, and one-page exportable PDF reports. Home users' completed checks sync to the clinic automatically.
How much does PodiaScan cost for a clinic?⌄
There are Clinician, Clinic Group and Multi-Clinic plans, and a Home User plan for people checking their own feet. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial — card details are required, cancel any time within 14 days and pay nothing. Current prices are on the pricing page.
